As it is not every day that a new underground line is built, there is a great deal of interest. Consequently, there is a long tradition of keeping citizens informed then building Vienna’s underground system.
Regular information is provided through a dedicated residents magazine, in addition to the important work being performed by ombudsmen as direct contact persons at the building sites.
Regular tours are also made available to groups and dialogue is sought during information events.
